Selection of PPE Considering Protection Classes and Operational Levels to Prepare Internal Standards Based on Unified Standard Norms
17.09.2025 10:00–11:30
Sirius University, Conference hall 3
The selection of PPE by protection classes and operational levels is an important step in the formation of Standards, but this block is new for most employers. The choice of PPE is based on knowledge of the standards and requirements set out in TR CU 019/2011. It is also important to understand the conformity assessment documents: certificates and declarations. The ability to read the PPE label and compare the information on the label and in the certificate is also extremely important. These are new requirements that require skills and an understanding of information sources.
We will tell you how to form Norms correctly, taking into account protection classes and operational levels. Let's show how to move from the results of the ODA to the choice of PPE. Let's look at specific cases.
Where can I find information about protection classes and operational levels of PPE? What information can be obtained from the certificate? How do I read the markings on different types of PPE?

Analysis of Common Mistakes When Preparing Standards for Issuing PPE Based on Unified Standard Norms
17.09.2025 14:30–16:00
Sirius University, Roundtable 5.6
As of January 1, 2025, all companies were required to transition to the Unified Tariff Standards (ETN). But, as is often the case with implementing new systems, there are still more questions than answers.
There is no established practice for State Labor Inspectorate (GIT) audits yet, which means occupational health and safety specialists have to rely on logic, experience, and analysis of regulatory documents.
At the practical session, which will be held in the "OT Media Live" format, you can ask your question about working with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to an expert and get an answer in real time during the event.
This event is for you if you:
● Are responsible for occupational health and safety in your company,
● Are involved in selecting and purchasing PPE,
● Want to avoid mistakes in compiling ETN standards and get your questions answered.

Sirius University, Winter hall
The entry into force of Order No. 766n of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation, in addition to establishing a new procedure for the formation of standards for the issuance of PPE based on the results of the SAUT and ODA, imposed duties on the employer to independently determine the necessary and sufficient set of protection classes and operational levels of PPE.
At the event, we will consider the degree of influence of the results of the SAUT and the ODA on the choice of protection classes / operational levels of individual and collective protective equipment. Due to the lack of a unified methodology for determining protection classes / operational levels, we will consider possible methods for determining protection classes/ operational levels depending on the working conditions of employees, as well as risks and hazards in the workplace. We will discuss the influence of the magnitude of the source of risk on the choice of risk management measures: personal protective equipment or collective protection.

How the Digitalization of Occupational Safety and Health Measures and the Health Protection of the Working Population Impacts the Life Expectancy, Quality of Health, and Long-Term Working Capacity of Russian Citizens. Practical Solutions
17.09.2025 16:30–18:00
Sirius University, Roundtable 5.6
In the current conditions, the need to create and introduce tools and technologies to protect the working population first and foremost is providing an impetus for the development of specialized IT solutions. Both software products and special medical software and hardware systems are being developed.
The use of these new developments helps to bring employee health monitoring services closer to consumers – socially responsible companies.
These products also offer savings on funds allocated for the prevention of occupational and non-communicable diseases, loss of health, and early disability.
The session participants will present solutions that help employers reduce tensions on the labour market, increase productivity, and extend the working longevity of their employees.

Women in Various Industries and Areas of Professional Activity
17.09.2025 16:30–18:00
Sirius University, Winter hall
A 2025 VTsIOM (Russian Public Opinion Research Center) poll reflected that Russian society continues to associate leadership with men - Russians are confident that men are more predisposed to leadership (48%) than women (8%). However, statistics relentlessly prove that women's presence in the labor market not only constitutes almost half of the entire workforce but is also confirmed by indicators for managerial positions: the proportion of female managers has increased over the past year in 58% of Russian companies, and the number of female managers exceeds 50% in finance, human resources, retail, science, and education. The share of women is also growing in "non-traditional" industries for them (manufacturing, construction, transportation, etc.), and a tight labor market coupled with modern technology and the automation of industrial enterprises is reducing physical requirements for employees, which opens up new opportunities for women.
