About the Sirius Park of Science and Art

Sirius Park of Science and Art is located in the former Main Media Centre of Sochi's Olympic Park. The building was opened on 7 January 2014, a month before the opening of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Today, it is the largest congress and exhibition centre in Krasnodar Territory and the location of major Russian and international events, such as the Russian Labour Safety Week, Congress of Young Scientists, the World Youth Festival.

One of the year-round occupants of the building is Sirius Education Center. Utilizing Olympic infrastructure, the Center was established by the Talent and Success Foundation at the initiative of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The Foundation was established on 24 December 2014 by renowned scientists, athletes, and artists.

Sirius Education Center is involved in the early identification, development, and continued professional support of children gifted in the arts, sports, sciences, or technology.

The Center is open year-round. Every month, over 800 children ages 10–17 from across Russia visit the Sirius Education Center. They are accompanied by over 100 educators and trainers in search of additional career training.
