What is the Russian Labour Safety Week?
The Russian Labour Safety Week has been held since 2015 and has become a major occupational health and safety (OHS) event in Russia and abroad.
Russian Labour Safety Week is a discussion platform designed to present current trends in the development of all aspects of labour relations. It aims to share experiences and discuss prospects for activities in the field of ensuring safe working conditions, employee health, and industrial safety issues.

When and where will the Russian Labour Safety Week take place?
The Russian Labour Safety Week 2023 will be held on 26–29 September 2023. The regular venue for the event is Sirius Park of Science and Art.

Who is organizing the Week?
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation will be organizing the event. The Russian Labour Safety Week Organizing Committee is headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.
The Roscongress Foundation was acted as the operator of the Russian Labour Safety Week.
The Roscongress Foundation – is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

How do I become a moderator or speaker?
To become a moderator or speaker at the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023, you should send a letter to Georgy Molebnov, the head of the working group responsible for programme preparation and Director of the Department of Occupational Health and Safety at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
In the letter, please provide your contact details, position, organization and a brief abstract of your presentation on the chosen topic.

The application should include an indication of the specific direction of the planned presentation, in alignment with the programme architecture.

How to become an exhibitor?
Russian Labour Safety Week is a unique platform for expert discussions, presentations of innovative projects and services, constructive dialogues, experience exchange, solution-seeking, and the collaborative efforts of individuals from the realms of science, business, government, and public organizations. Its primary goal is to transform the approach to occupational safety.

Where can I see the list of exhibitors?
The preliminary catalogue of exhibitors will be placed in the section with the same name on the website. Closer to the event dates, a site map will be published on the website, marking the exhibitors' stands.

Can I see the exhibition if I am not a participant in the business programme?
Yes, you can. To do this, please register on your Roscongress personal account. On the 5th step of registration, select 'Russian Labour Safety Week' from the list of proposed events and choose the 'Exhibition Visitor' participation package. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge.

How can I take part in the Week?
If you wish to submit an application to attend the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023, please sign up for a Roscongress personal account on the foundation website (roscongress.org).
Once you have completed the registration process, an email will be sent to the address you specified, containing your login and password for your Roscongress personal account.
If you have forgotten your login and password, you can use the login and password recovery function on the Roscongress personal account login page or contact us by email: weboffice@roscongress.org.
If you did not select an event (step 5) when registering for your Roscongress personal account, you need to log in and fill in the application form for participation in Russian Labour Safety Week 2023 in the ‘Events – Future’ section.

Can an application to participate be denied?
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse an invitation to an applicant without explanation.

What are the formats of participation?
In 2023, the Russian Labour Safety Week has four participation packages – Standard, Premium, Youth Day Participant and Exhibition Visitor.

I want to attend both the sessions of the business programme and see the exhibition. Which participation package should I choose?
To attend the business programme events from 26 to 29 September (except for events by special invitation), choose the Premium or Standard package.

The Exhibition Visitor participation package is suitable for you. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge from 26 to 29 September, but it does not grant access to the events of the business programme and the business communication areas reserved for participants. Do the participant packages include access to the plenary session?
Access to the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023 plenary session is by special invitation only, and will not be offered as part of the participation packages.

Are certificates provided for participation in the event?
No, participation certificates are not provided.

How do I decline to participate in the Week?
Participants who have received an invitation but have decided not to attend the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023, or who have previously confirmed their participation but no longer plan to attend are kindly requested to officially decline their participation via the Roscongress personal account or by informing the appropriate member of staff at the Roscongress Foundation.
Go to your Roscongress personal account, select Russian Labour Safety Week under 'My events' and click the 'Decline' button in the Event dashboard section.

If a participant cannot attend the Week, can a colleague from the same organization take their place?
A participant can only be substituted with the approval of the Organizing Committee.
If a participant who has confirmed their participation can no longer attend the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023 for any reason, and you wish to arrange a replacement, please contact your personal manager at the Roscongress Foundation.

How do I pay the participation fee?
- Go to the ‘My events’ section of the Roscongress personal account
- Select Russian Labour Safety Week
- Go to the ‘Event dashboard’ section
- Open the ‘Payment’ section
- Enter the payer’s information (make sure you enter the information of the individual or legal entity making the payment)
- Select the payment method:
- invoice in roubles or bank card for residents of the Russian Federation
- invoice in roubles/US dollars/euros or bank card for non-residents of the Russian Federation
- Select the type of payment document: a participation agreement or invoice agreement (a single document incorporating both the agreement and invoice for payment)

How do I pay by agreement?
The participation fee may only be paid by the individual or legal entity indicated as the Customer in the participation agreement.
Steps for paying the participation fee by agreement:
- Download the participation agreement from the Roscongress personal account
- Print and sign the agreement, and email a scanned copy to Russian Labour Safety Week 2023 personal manager at the Roscongress Foundation
- Download the generated invoice
- Pay the participation fee via your bank (payment may take more than 3 banking days to process) or by bank card via the Roscongress personal account (payment will go through immediately).
Acceptable payment forms include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, and MIR payment system cards issued by Russian banks and UnionPay payment system cards issued by foreign banks. Payments are made in Russian roubles.
Before proceeding to payment, please make sure that:
- there are sufficient funds on the bank card;
- the payer’s bank has not set a one-time transfer amount limit.

The Roscongress personal account is an information space, communication tool, and service platform for participants of all Roscongress Foundation events.

- receive updates to your participation status and learn about services offered at various events organized by the Roscongress Foundation;
- access resources and analysis on previous events organized by the Foundation.

How do I register via the Roscongress personal account?
You can register for a Roscongress personal account on the Roscongress Foundation website.
You can register for a Roscongress personal account in five simple steps. Step one is to fill in your personal details. You will then be prompted to provide your passport details, information about your organization and your contact details. The fifth and final step is to select the event.
Once you have completed the registration process, an email will be sent to the address you have provided containing your login and password for your Roscongress personal account.

How do I access the Week venue?
The business and cultural programme venue may only be accessed with an accreditation badge for the Russian Labour Safety Week 2023. The badge is the only valid document confirming a participant’s accreditation.

What is prohibited to bring into the venue?
A range of items will be prohibited from the event venue. In order to avoid any inconvenience when accessing the venue, participants are advised to leave any such items at their accommodation or in their vehicle.

What should I check before collecting my badge?
Before collecting their badges, participants are advised to ensure the following:
- participation in the event is confirmed via the Roscongress personal account;
- personal information provided in the Roscongress personal account matches participants’ ID exactly;
- a badge photo has been uploaded to the Roscongress personal account;
- participation fee is paid (when choosing a paid participation package)

What are the requirements for the badge photograph?
Photograph requirements:
- colour photograph on a light background;
- 480x640 pixels in size;
- image format – JPG or JPEG;
- front view of the participant’s entire face, without head covering;
- subject’s face must take up at least 70% of the image.

How can I check that my badge is ready for collection?
You will receive an email notification, when your badge is ready. You can check whether your accreditation badge is ready for collection in the Roscongress personal account, via your personal manager at the Roscongress Foundation, or by calling the event information centre on +7 (495) 640 7827.

What documents are required to collect participant badge?
A participant badge can be collected in person upon presentation of:
- ID (info must match that in the Roscongress personal account)
- the original copy of the personal data processing consent form
Alternatively, badges may be collected by an authorized representative under power of attorney.
If information contained in the participant’s ID has changed in the time since a participation application was submitted, the participant’s Roscongress personal account must be updated accordingly. If changes need to be made to uneditable fields, please contact your personal manager at the Roscongress Foundation.
Before issuing a badge, a member of staff at the accreditation point will check that the information in the Roscongress personal account matches that on the document provided. Should there be any discrepancies, it will not be possible to issue a badge on the same day.

Can one organization representative collect the badges of all people participating in the eventfrom that organization?
Absolutely. If the badge is being collected by an authorized representative, they must provide the following:
- Authorized person’s passport
- Original of standard power of attorney
- List of participants (attached to the power of attorney)
- Copies of participants’ passports
- Originals of personal data consent forms

Where do I get my badge?
Badges can be collected from one of the Russian Labour Safety Week accreditations points.

Can I replace a lost or damaged badge?
If your accreditation badge is lost or damaged, please go to the Help Desk or any accreditation stand immediately. The badge will then be blocked, and a replacement badge will be issued to the holder upon written request.

Is food provided at the Week venue?
For participants with Premium and Standard packages, meals are provided free of charge in the business lounge areas of the Russian Labour Safety Week venue. Premium package participants will also be catered for in the VIP Lounge.
All catering areas for participants and the media will be organized in accordance with Rospotrebnadzor's requirements for the organization and conduct of congress and exhibition events.

Free shuttles will be organized for participants and media representatives during the Russian Labour Safety Week.

CURRENCY AND BANK CARD TRANSACTIONS

What is the best way to pay for goods and services?
We do recommend having cash with you for the entire duration of the Russian Labour Safety Week due to restricted use of foreign bank cards in Russia.
The use of MIR and UnionPay cards in Russia is not restricted in any currency. We do recommend participants to get a new card/bring an existing card of these systems, if possible.
Please note that UnionPay has started its operations in Russia relatively recently. Therefore, cards of this payment system may occasionally malfunction.

What are the currency exchange restrictions?
Please note the following currency exchange restrictions:
- only USD and EUR cash can be freely exchanged for RUB cash.
- you must present your ID (passport) for transactions over RUB 40,000.
- there is NO exchanging non-cash currency for RUB cash using MasterCard or Visa bank cards issued outside of Russia. It is also not possible to withdraw RUB cash from these cards.

How do I book a tour of Sochi and its surroundings?
Today, Sochi is Russia’s main resort city and the capital of the Russian south. It is a major financial and cultural centre that has grown rapidly in recent decades.
September is an ideal time for excursions and attending cultural events. An excursion booking desk will be available at the Russian Labour Safety Week venue for participants to book their excursions. All excursions and services must be paid for separately by the participant.
