Sport programme

Six types of intellectual competitions will take place in a single space: classic checkers and chess, backgammon, Go, mahjong, and dice chess. Visitors will learn about various games and have the chance to try their hand at them – during the workshops, professionals will explain the rules, nuances, and strategies that help them think several moves ahead.

There will also be a simultaneous chess exhibition with two-time European team chess champion Miran Oganian where visitors will be able to test their skills against the master in a real chess confrontation.

Three competitions will be held as part of the Mind Sports Lounge:
The Roscongress Chess Cup will take place on 08.10.2026
The Roscongress Backgammon Cup will take place on 10.10.2026
The Roscongress Checkers Cup will take place on 07.10.2026

Here strategy, intuition, calculation, and the thrill of the game will meet, and participants will have the opportunity to test their mettle in a real intellectual battle.
