The Ministry of Labour of the Russian Federation will hold the 7th Russian Labour Safety Week on 25–29 April 2022 in the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi. According to Minister of Labour Anton Kotyakov, it will be an offline event.
“The Russian Labour Safety Week 2022 is going back to its original timing. In 2022, the Week will take place on 25–29 April, while Workers’ Memorial Day, an important international day of remembrance, takes place on 28 April,” said Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
In 2021, the Russian Labour Safety Week took place in Sochi on 6–9 September. Participants included Tatiana Golikova; representatives of the Ministry of Labour; Guy Ryder, Director-General of the International Labour Office (ILO); public officials, agency and business leaders. The event programme offered over 100 sessions, master classes and meetings, with over 2,500 participating. The industry exhibition at the Russian Labour Safety Week presented over 50 companies and organizations.
The Russian Labour Safety Week is organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. The event operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
“The Russian Labour Safety Week is the first collaboration between the Ministry of Labour and the Roscongress Foundation. The event was prepared on a tight schedule. Due to the pandemic, some decisions had to be made on a short notice, but despite everything our joint effort helped us ensure the high level of the event. Now that we have more time to prepare, I am confident that the Russian Labour Safety Week 2022 will be held to an even higher standard,” said Alexander Stuglev, CEO of the Roscongress Foundation.
