DATES AND KEY EVENTS APPROVED FOR RUSSIAN LABOUR SAFETY WEEK

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has approved the Organizing Committee’s protocol on preparations for the 7th Russian Labour Safety Week (RLSW), scheduled to take place on 27–30 September 2022 at the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi.

The document approves the date and key approaches to the business programme architecture. In addition to the plenary session, events will be held in the fields of information technology, medicine and energy. Representatives of the largest companies in Russia and the CIS will be taking part in the forum. As is tradition, RLSW will conclude with Youth Day.

“This year, the main focus will be on risk management and education in occupational safety. The introduction of technology and state-of-the-art practices are helping to reduce workplace injuries. Thanks to the amendments to the Labour Code, there will from now on be much greater focus on each specific workplace at production facilities. The safety of citizens is our common global goal. Russian Labour Safety Week is the main federal event in this area,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Following the Organizing Committee’s meeting, instructions were issued concerning preparations for the event and hospitality arrangements. The business programme architecture will soon be published on RLSW’s official website.

Russian Labour Safety Week is organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. Its operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
